PLAYOFF WEEK 14 MUST STARTS:
QB Tony Romo vs Giants - There is no debate that the Giants defense is poor at defending the pass. They have been torched, and will not have much luck this week against the Cowboys. This is a big game that should be very high scoring. It is expected that Romo will have at least two touchdowns.

Many following the NFL have their attention focused on the fantasy football playoffs. It is no secret that waiver-wire picks could be your way into a championship. Here are five to check out for week 14.
Marion Barber, Chicago
Barber may not have lasted the day on your wire after Matt Forte went down with a knee injury and even though he had just 44 yards in a 10-3 loss to Kansas City, even Montreal Canadiens fans of the Bears would tell you that Jay Cutler is also hurt, which means Caleb Hanie is under center and he was picked off three times by the Chiefs. If the Bears are going to win in Denver this week, they’ll have to run the ball.
The NFL's least popular franchise, the Jacksonville Jaguars, are about to be sold to a rich man named Shahid Khan. Khan is from Central Illinois, and has tried in the past to purchase the St. Louis Rams. Shahid Khan is not just a buisness man, but he is an NFL fan as well. Current Jags owner, Wayne Weaver, has promised Jacksonville residents the team will stay. YEA RIGHT...

Kyle Orton, Kansas City
Tyler Palko threw three interceptions in a 13-9 loss at home to Pittsburgh, and while it was an admirable effort, a review of this game would point out that Palko just isn’t a good NFL starting quarterback by any standards. The Chiefs picked up Orton off waivers last week and you should see him in the lineup this weekend against Chicago, where Orton spent the beginning of his career. Honestly, he can’t be any worse than Palko, who has seven turnovers in two games.

Caleb Hanie, Chicago
Hanie will be called upon this week on the road in Oakland as Jay Cutler may be out for the season with an ailing thumb, but he has been with the Bears since 2008 and he’s comfortable with the players and the coaching staff, who know enough about Hanie to avoid putting him in tough spots. He made some nice throws when he replaced an injured Cutler in last season’s NFC title loss to Green Bay, but Hanie will be a serviceable NFL fantasy pickup.
